In this tutorial, we will be teaching you how to create cool techy styled text. This text can be used for your website logos or even headers for topics on your website. Here is the final result:


Open Photoshop and start a new document. The size I choose was 400×200.

Now add some text using the Type Tool. The font I picked was Operational Amplifier

Now go to the layer palette and right click the text layer and go to Blending Options.

And add the following.
Outer Glow

Bevel and Emboss

Gradient Overlay

Stroke

Now hold the Ctrl button and click on the text layer.

Make a new layer and then get the Rectangular Marquee Tool and hold Alt and go over 1/4 of the text and fill it in with white.

And change the opacity of that white layer to 29%

Now right click the text layer and make a duplicate. Then go to Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical.

Now drag that layer down until it looks like this.

And change its opacity to 63%

Now to add a line in-between the two text layers.
Using the Pen Tool make a new layer and hold Shift and go across until you want to stop.
Then change the layers color by going to Blending Options then to Color Overlay and change it to a darker green.

And you are finished.
